At Twisted, we believe in giving back to the communities that support us. On Saturday 20th September, members of the Twisted team laced up their trainers and joined The Rowans Hospice Shining Stars Walk – an unforgettable 8-mile night walk through Portsmouth in memory of loved ones and in support of a truly vital cause.
Why the Rowans?
The Rowans Hospice provides world-class palliative and end-of-life care for those living with life-limiting illnesses, alongside psychological, spiritual, and social support for both patients and their families. Their work is life-changing, but it comes at a cost.
Walking the walk, smashing the goal
We set ourselves a target: £300 for our team of 8. With the support of friends, family, and colleagues, we didn’t just meet it – we smashed it. Proof that when you combine community spirit with a little Twisted flair, amazing things can happen. The best part? TwistedPair matched our overall amount raised so we contributed a total amount of £1800!
Why it matters
Events like these remind us that fundraising isn’t just about money – it’s about memory, connection, and community. For The Rowans Hospice, every pound raised goes directly towards keeping their doors open, ensuring care is always there for those who need it most. We’re proud to have played our part and we’ll keep showing up to support causes that make a real difference.
